Poem - Explanation

I’ve been in search of knowledge, life lessons & life’s blessings.

Used my creativity, and tried to create my future with asking.

The universe for wealth, Love & Passion.

Applied the law of attraction, control of my thoughts got my mind crashing.

on the highway, So now i am mind travellin. into your thoughts and soul leaving passion.

Got your state of mind changing. Rebel’s faces. I made of words my sanctuary.

Write poetry, to get an hold of me. Spit real lyrics we revolutionary.

Staring in the mirror seeing an invisible man.

Imitating the bad way for me to understand.

Cuz i am misunderstood by the most, but the few that understand.

Are angels, Life Savers most of them Unknown by men.

Cuz they don’t live amongst y’all, They live on my side of the tracks.

Where no one can find their peace, unless we’re jamming on beats.

No shame, open my heart amongst my homies, my brothers.

we honest, some lying, Some gunning. But we’re street wise.

Amongst sinners and thieves there is no honor.

We can only be proud of our way of thinking.

Deep sinking, street philosophers. Share no stories with children.

There is always a way for poets to share their feelings.

We might be drunk but not killing. broken but none kneeling.

We lost our souls in vain. We washed our faults with rain.

So we’re drunk driving, Buzzed rhyming. cuz no one can call us insane.
